Don't come sneakin' around our house! I've been teachin' Annelie the basics of a pump action shotgun. They say a 12 gauge loaded with alternting rounds of double-ought buckshot and 12 g slugs is a pretty good home defense weapon. In this day and age I feel like we need it. I know I would never forgive myself if I didn't provide us the means and training to defend ourselves if we needed to.

She's aced her first target practice and I'm extremely proud of her! We work on saftey first, skilz second. When done correctly, she would have kept her cheek tight against the stock after she fired as well as kept her weapon on point and her finger poised, but off the trigger. That's why I'm standing behind her :)
